Delhi's Sizzling Secret: Where Digital Nomads Go to Melt (and Maybe Find Wi-Fi)

so here's the thing: i just checked and it's...33.1°c right now, hope you like that kind of thing. it's like the city itself is sweating into your laptop keyboard. seriously, the humidity's only 23%, but the air feels like it's been microwaved. i mean, it's not that bad, but if you're planning to explore, maybe invest in a fan that doubles as a personal air conditioner. oh, and the pressure's 1004, which sounds fancy but basically means the sky is just...heavy. like it's holding its breath before dumping a monsoon on you. which, by the way, someone told me that monsoons here are like nature's own air conditioning system. drunk advice from a chai wallah, but hey, it's something.

*gear list (because i'm a digital nomad, not a monk):
- a laptop that doesn't overheat (good luck finding that)
- a portable charger that can survive a power cut (which happens more often than i'd like)
- a hat that doesn't melt (this is a real struggle)
- a map of the metro because google maps is basically a conspiracy against tourists

overheard gossip: someone told me that the best street food is hidden behind a blue door in chandni chowk. but they also said it's guarded by a grumpy old man who only speaks urdu. so, you know, good luck. i heard that the local coffee snob community is having a meltdown because the barista at that hipster cafe used regular milk instead of oat milk. dramatic gasp.

reviews (as drunk advice): 'if you get bored, agra is just a short drive away.' said a guy who looked like he'd been living in a tuk-tuk for a month. 'but be prepared for the taj mahal to be...crowded. like, literally shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers crowded.' i also heard that the local botanist has a secret garden where the plants are all named after forgotten bollywood stars. but that might just be the heat talking.

map (because getting lost is half the fun):

images (because words are overrated):

A sign for the entrance to a park

links (because i'm not a monster):
