Chasing Ghosts in the Old Quarter

okay so i'm sitting here in this dusty internet cafe trying to write about the weirdest trip i've taken in ages. you know when you stumble into a place and immediately feel like you've walked onto a movie set? that's exactly what happened here. the air is thick with incense and something else i can't quite place-maybe old secrets. i just checked and it's 28.33°C there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. i'm sweating through my shirt and my camera lens keeps fogging up. perfect for ghost hunting, right?

anyway, i heard from a barista (who looked like she'd seen actual spirits) that the old cemetery on the hill is where all the action is. she whispered something about "the weeping woman" and then quickly changed the subject when i pressed her. classic local ghost lore-always vague, always creepy.

"Don't go up there after dark unless you want to meet her,"

she said, eyes darting to the door like someone might be listening.

i did some digging online and found a few scattered mentions on TripAdvisor about strange lights and cold spots in the cemetery. nothing concrete, just enough to fuel my curiosity. and let's be real-if i don't at least check it out, i'll regret it for the rest of the trip.

if you get bored, nearby towns like [redacted] and [redacted] are just a short drive away, but honestly? nothing compares to the vibe here. the streets twist in ways that make no sense, and every corner has a story someone's dying to tell you-if you're willing to listen.

i've got my gear packed: flashlight, extra batteries, and a voice recorder set to max sensitivity. i'm not expecting anything, but then again, that's what they all say before something goes bump in the night.

here's the map if you wanna see where i'm talking about:

i'll update this post tomorrow if i survive the night. if not, well-at least i'll have a good story for the other side.
