Chicago's Chillest (and Coldest) Weekend

chicago's chilliest (and coldest) weekend

so i just got back from chicago, and lemme tell ya, the weather was... there. i just checked and it's... there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. it's a brisk -1°c with a wind chill making it feel like -6°c. perfect for hot chocolate and cozy vibes, or maybe just a solid excuse to hide indoors.

if you get bored, milwaukee and indianapolis are just a hop, skip, and a jump away. someone told me that the deep dish pizza here is legendary, but also that the lines are insane. i heard that from a guy who looked like he'd been waiting since dawn.

*gear lists are essential, but honestly, i just threw on my warmest hoodie and called it a day. for the lakefront, though, you might want actual winter boots.

reviews are all over the place. someone told me that the art institute is a must, but also that the crowds can be brutal. i heard that from a woman who looked like she'd been waiting for hours.

external links to check out: deep dish pizza spot and hidden bar.
