the neon-lit labyrinth

i just checked and it's... there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. i wandered past more faces than i counted, and sometimes i forget why we even need a map. neighbors keep calling from their yards, shouting about 'failed last Tuesday' or 'that weird noise last night.' remember those rumors? yesterday i tripped over a piñata that had better luck than last week. weather just shifted again-chilly gusts making the cobblestones feel like glass. somehow this chaos feels less terrifying now. some might say i'm lost here, but i’m figuring out why i’m here. look, here’s a map; click it-it’s not helpful. also, tripped into a bush that had a tiny fountain. weird. some say nature’s cruel, others just need a guide. i forgot the path existed, so i improvised. hey, look-something blue there. just ignore the rules. link tripadvisor says 'city ambiance,' local board suggests 'quiet zone,' but my mind insists it’s mess here. reviews say 'confusing but fascinating.' i’m still figuring. oh, and that snack-strange combination that tastes like trouble. local baker says it’s addictive. anyway, stay, wander, pretend you know. don’t ask questions.
