Ran Into This Weird Little Town—41210, Population: Me

okay so i just rolled into this random spot in the middle of nowhere. no idea what i was expecting but it sure wasn't this. the numbers 41210 kept flashing on my phone like some glitchy gps code, and i thought, "why not?" turned out to be the best kind of weird.

right now it's 8.61°C outside, which feels more like 7.18°c because of the wind. the air's got that crisp bite that makes your nose tingle. apparently the humidity's hanging around 62%, so it's not exactly bone-dry but not muggy either. kinda perfect for wandering around without sweating through your jacket.

this place feels like it's been plucked out of a dream-half modern, half stuck in the '80s. i heard from a guy at the corner store that the town's main claim to fame is some old train station nobody uses anymore. he said it's haunted, but i think he was just messing with me. still, i might check it out later if i get brave enough.

if you get bored, *Tabriz and Ardebil are just a short drive away. i've heard Tabriz has this insane bazaar where you can lose yourself for hours. someone told me that the tea there is so strong it'll keep you awake for three days straight. not sure if i believe that, but i'm willing to test it.

food here is… interesting. had a kebab from a place called
Kebab King (creative, right?). the guy running it said their secret spice mix has been in his family for 200 years. i'm not sure if that's true or just good marketing, but it was delicious. if you're into local eats, check out Yelp for more spots.

i also stumbled across this tiny bookstore that smelled like old paper and coffee. the owner, an old man with a beard that could rival Gandalf's, told me he's been there since before i was born. he said the best stories are the ones you find by accident. i bought a book just to keep the conversation going.

honestly, this town's got this weird charm that's hard to explain. it's not flashy, not touristy, just… real. if you're into offbeat travel, this might be your kind of place. just don't expect five-star hotels or anything. it's more like, "hey, let's crash at this family-run guesthouse and see what happens."

anyway, i'm off to explore more. maybe i'll find that haunted train station after all. or maybe i'll just sit in a cafe and people-watch. who knows? that's the beauty of this kind of trip.

p.s. if you're planning to visit,
TripAdvisor* has some decent reviews on where to stay and what to do. just don't take everything too seriously-this place thrives on chaos.
