wrocław doesn't care about your plans or your breath
i wasn’t planning on painting outside today but the weather here is so stubborn it forces you into odd choices. it’s -3 point something degrees and that humidity? it’s like hugging a damp sock. i just checked my phone and it’s still that same icy chill out there, like someone dared the air to be a bad date.
last week i saw a street artist in a graffiti alley who looked like they’d been scraping paint off a wall all day. when i asked what they were up to, they just handed me a can of rust-colored spray paint and said ‘this is my new color palette.’ no questions. Wrocław’s street art scene? it’s like the city’s been screaming into a can for years and someone finally paid attention. though i heard that some local told me the angel statue downtown is actually a spy for a neighboring country. i don’t know if that’s true but the pigeons seem to agree by avoiding it.
