random numbers, random weather, random vibes in the middle of nowhere

the numbers 3033123 and 1250182013 meant nothing to me at first-just weird digits someone scribbled on a napkin. but here i am, standing in this sleepy little town, where the weather says 6.04°c, feels like 4.81°c, humidity at 88%, and the air is so still it's like the whole place is holding its breath. i just checked and it's damp and chilly there right now, hope you like that kind of thing.

walking around felt like stepping into someone else's dream. no tourists, no crowds, just a few locals who looked at me like i'd dropped from the sky. someone told me that the best coffee in town is at a place called "the grinding wheel"-no website, no yelp, just a hand-painted sign. i found it by accident after getting lost behind a row of old brick buildings. the barista had tattoos of coffee beans and said, "you look like you need something strong." she wasn't wrong.

if you get bored, besançon and belfort are just a short drive away, but honestly? i kinda liked being nowhere for a while. no pressure, no itinerary, just wandering.

"the only thing that moves here is the fog," an old guy muttered to me outside the bakery. "and even that's lazy."


i overheard a couple of kids talking about a hidden trail behind the church. apparently it leads to an old stone bridge no one uses anymore. i didn't find it, but i liked the idea that it might be out there. the whole place felt like a secret.

this town won't be on any "top 10 places to visit" list, and that's exactly why i liked it. no filters, no hashtags, just fog, coffee, and the kind of quiet that makes you think.
