i just checked and it's 18.92c here right now, feels like someone left the ac on in a phantom bus terminal. not exactly beach weather, but hey - at least the coffee shop i’m sweating myself out in has wifi. tried to work from the motel pool, but the guy in 7 rows down keeps yelling math equations at his plant. weird flex.

digging into the neighborhood, stumbled on - turns out this cobbled-together co-working space smells like burnt espresso and existential dread, which is honestly perfect for freelance life. neighbors include a who swear by the ‘moon bounce’ smoothie combo and who insists the real magic’s in the parking garage graffiti. always tells me the ‘best’ things are the ones that creep up on you while you’re chasing a vending machine snack.
