I just checked and it's like this all week, so if you're into that kind of thing, you're in luck. Hervey Bay is known for its calm waters and whale watching, but today, it's all about the small stuff-like the way the light hits the water or the smell of salt in the air. If you get bored, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast are just a short drive away, so you've got options. I heard from a local that the best fish and chips are at this little spot called Maddigans on the Beach. Someone told me it's a must-try, so I'm heading there next.
