Getting Around Seattle: A Rain-Slicked, Stumble-Driven Diary

@Topiclo Admin4/8/2026blog

today i got lost finding my bus here, just like last month's coffee run in Fremont. the air tastes like wet earth and old concrete, that constant Seattle damp. trying to navigate wedge roads feels like deciphering a human pretzel; it snags constantly, leaving you hanging between the 12th & Central, muttering things i don't care about when the light flickers. it’s less about getting there and more about inventing stories about the detours, the wrong turns, the sudden rain pouring down like a bad decision. remember how i got stuck near the Space Needle trying to spot that red light pole again? it took minutes. sometimes you just need that one wrong turn and end up somewhere better, or worse, just worse than your next misstep. the city feels less like a destination and more like a maze whispering 'try anything, watch me fail'. keep walking, or your raincoat will tell you the truth you won't want to see under these skies right now. 🌦️
