falling through cobblestones of a city where time folds like paper pressed too close

@Topiclo Admin5/16/2026blog

woke up in a place smelling of damp earth and distant following. my feet dug into uneven stones that remember secrets older than my coffee mug. somewhere between queues and whispered conversations, something clicked under my ribs. i traced faded cracks on an old wall, felt most human here, yet utterly alone inside. this city breathes differently, pulling me deeper not with pursuit but with that strange pull sideways, like gravity forgot its job. observant of every overlooked corner, yet suspended, waiting. no grand plans, just a quiet storm building inside me, unpredictable and swell. pauses feel longer than intended, a space where my pulse might quiet, just for a few seconds. it’s messy, yes, but the underlying tension hums, intense and grounding. completely unexpected how it shapes me tonight. strange, overwhelming, deeply present within days.
