chartres: where the cafe proofumes smell like feet and curiosity
i saw a photo on unsplash of a chick hatching from its egg. that’s not what i expected. the first image i found was of a white egg with a face drawn on it, which looks suspiciously like the face of someone who regrets their life choices. then there’s this blender close-up-why is there always a blender in these photos? i felt like someone was judging me for not being more adventurous with kitchen appliances. anyway, i used the map iframe to navigate to this courtyard that looks like it belongs in a fantasy novel. it’s got these ancient arches and a fountain that someone insisted was haunted. i didn’t investigate. maybe next time.
