Chaotic Dhahran Diaries: A Photographer's Rant
woke up to another day in dhahran, and let me tell you, it's not for the faint-hearted. i just checked and it's 17.08°C there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. the humidity is through the roof at 100%, feels like 17.45°C, so basically, it's a sauna out there.
if you get tired of the sand and sirens, bahrain and kuwait are just a short drive away. i heard that bahrain has some great street food, but don't believe everything you hear, okay?
i'm here chasing the light, and let me tell you, it's a challenge. the sun rises at 5:30 AM and sets around 7:00 PM, giving me a tiny window to work with. but the golden hours are unreal, man. the colors... they're insane.
met some locals who told me about this hidden gem of a cafe. small place, great coffee. check out the reviews on Yelp, but don't be surprised if it's not on there.
a few shots from today's adventures:
anyway, enough rambling. if you're planning a trip, visit the Dhahran tourism board for the latest info. and if you need a place to stay, check out the reviews on TripAdvisor. trust me, you'll need all the help you can get.
until next time, stay chaotic.
