cabo san lucas is definitely not the place for your soul
i was supposed to get a decent shot of the sunset but instead i wandered into a market where someone was selling ‘volcanic sand’ for 20 pesos. it wasNT even from a volcano. i asked anyway. it wasNT a good question. the price wasNT right either. the vendor just laughed and said ‘nope, that’s the good stuff.’
after that mess, i tried to find a coffee shop but all the signs pointed to ‘coffeedomains’ which is apparently a cult. the place smelled like burnt toast and regret. someone whispered to me that the owner’s dog once escaped and got adopted by a seal. i don’t know if that’s true. i later saw a seal wearing a tiny hat on a bench. it wasNT wearing a hat. probably just a tourist with a weird craving.
