Brr, It's Cold Enough to Freeze Your Nose Off in [City Name]

@Lucas Grant2/28/2026blog

so i just checked and it's...there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. -15.37°c, feels like -15.37°c, and the humidity is basically a wet blanket at 99%. pressure's high, like the weight of the world on your shoulders, and the sea level pressure is the same. grnd level's a bit lower, but who's counting? anyway, this weather makes you appreciate the little things, like a hot shower that doesn't instantly turn your skin into a popsicle. or maybe just a warm blanket and a good book about somewhere tropical. but hey, if you're feeling adventurous, someone told me that if you get bored, [nearby city] is just a short drive away. i heard that from a guy who looked like he'd been living in his car for a month. seriously, the locals here are either hardcore or just really good at pretending they're not freezing their butts off. i mean, i saw someone walking their dog in this stuff, and the dog looked like it was auditioning for a role in a horror movie. reviews? well, i overheard a drunk guy at the bar saying 'this place is great if you love being cold and broke.' not exactly a glowing recommendation, but hey, it's honest. and speaking of broke, if you're on a budget, you might want to check out that sketchy hostel everyone whispers about. someone told me it's 'character building,' which is code for 'you'll get bedbugs and wonder why you ever left home.' but if you're feeling fancy, there's this overpriced cafe where they serve coffee that costs more than your rent. i mean, seriously, $8 for a latte? someone told me the barista is actually a famous artist who can't hold down a real job. but hey, if you're a digital nomad like me, you can work from there while pretending you're not freezing. just don't forget your gloves. oh, and if you're into that whole 'getting lost' thing, the map below will show you where you are. it's basically a big, cold, confusing blob. enjoy!
