i woke up to a notification from my co-working space app. the temp was 28.35. ‘fine,’ i thought. ‘it’s not 40. it’s 28.35. deal with it.’ but then i remembered the feels_like was 33.17. suddenly, my keyboard felt like a sauna blanket. i spilled coffee on my notebook and blamed the humidity. 81% humidity. that’s not a number. that’s a mood. i walked to the closest Dhaba, which was a 12-minute stumble through a labyrinth of honking scooters and people selling mangos that looked like they’d seen a ghost. a local warned me not to drink the water. i did anyway. i’m fine. mostly.
