rosetto: A Tiny Italian Town That Stole My Heart

so i just got back from this little seaside town called rosetto and wow, what a vibe. it's not one of those places you see plastered all over instagram, but that's exactly why i loved it. the streets are narrow, the locals are super friendly, and the air smells like salt and fresh bread. i stayed for three days and honestly could've stayed three weeks.

first thing i noticed? the weather. i just checked and it's 15.91Ā°c there right now, which is basically perfect for wandering around without sweating through your shirt. feels like 15.02Ā°c with a light breeze, so yeah, hope you like that kind of thing.

now, if you get bored, pescara and teramo are just a short drive away. both have more hustle if rosetto feels too sleepy, but honestly? i think you'd be missing out on the magic by leaving too soon.

i heard from a local barista that the best espresso in town is at this tiny spot called bar centrale. she said, "if you don't try it, you're basically a tourist traitor." so i did. and she was right. strong, smooth, and served with a smile that made me feel like i'd been coming there for years.

overheard some drunk advice at a wine bar too: "never trust a restaurant with a menu in five languages." so i went to the one with no menu at all. just asked the owner what he was cooking that night. ended up with the best seafood pasta i've ever had. no joke.

if you're into slow travel, this is your spot. no big attractions, just good food, good wine, and people who actually want to talk to you. check out tripadvisor for a few more spots, but honestly? just walk around and see what happens.
