piraquara through a lens: what no one tells you

so here i am in piraquara, this little brazilian city i'd never heard of until last week. the numbers 3467452 and 1076606234? no idea what they mean-maybe coordinates, maybe a secret code. but i'm rolling with it anyway.

right now it's 23°c but feels like 23.5°c-so basically perfect hoodie weather. humidity's at 80%, so my hair's doing that weird fluffy thing again. if you're into crisp air without the chill, this is your spot.

i wandered into a tiny café on rua principal and overheard two old guys arguing about whether piraquara's best feature is the river or the fact that curitiba's only 30 minutes away. "if you get bored, curitiba's just a short drive away," one said, waving his hands like it explained everything.

i heard from a barista that the local museum has a collection of weird taxidermy animals-"like, really bad taxidermy," she whispered, as if confessing a crime. sounded sketchy enough to check out. also got a tip from a guy at the bus stop: "don't trust the empadinhas from the cart near the church-they're all crust, no filling."

if you're planning to visit, maybe peek at TripAdvisor for hotel deals-though honestly, the best spots are the ones with no reviews at all. and for food, Yelp barely knows this place exists, which feels right.

anyway, piraquara's not trying to be anything it's not. it's just here, with its weird numbers, perfect weather, and empadinha conspiracy. maybe that's enough.
