new yellow fever
i just checked and it's...there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. the air feels thick like last week's coffee shop, and someone spilled a latte on my shoulder. neighbors say the town's got a secret, but i don't care-my coffee’s already cold. let me tell you about the time i tried to fix a broken sidewalk crack, which ended up costing me hours and a few dollars. reviews here are kind of trash, but i’ll dig deeper anyway. some say it’s all noise, others say it’s the earth itself speaking. i’ll stick with what i learned today: never trust a map that doesn’t blink. somewhere down the road, a vending machine played my favorite song, and i ate a granola bar just because. i’ll check the app later, but no, let’s say i’m here now. if you get bored, cities are just drives, and i’ll roll down that road. there’s so much to do, so much to see, so much to mess up. i’ll follow the scent of damp concrete and pretend i’m not the one causing it all. links: tripadvisor yelp, localboards.net. i heard about the storm earlier, but it’ll pass. just don’t bring a jacket, just a mood. also, a few people mentioned a ghost in the alley, but i’ll dismiss it as imagination. maybe. i’ll keep going, even though my legs are screaming. don’t judge, i’m just here for the chaos.
