Mexico City: Where the Air Feels Like a Humid Hug (And Other Messy Truths)

woke up to this...22.86°C, feels like 21.98, humidity at 30%. kinda like a humid hug that's not quite suffocating. pressure's 1010, sea level same, ground level dropped to 760. weird. makes you feel grounded, or maybe just slightly dizzy. anyway, that's the weather right now. hope you like that kind of thing.

if you get bored, [cities] are just a short drive away. but honestly, who gets bored here?

*overheard gossip someone told me that the tacos near la rosa are legendary, but only if you go before 9am. drunk advice from a guy who looked like he'd slept in a dumpster said the best mezcal is hidden behind a laundromat in the colonia. pro tip: don't trust the first mezcal you see.

gear list (because even nomads need lists sometimes):
- a good pair of broken-in sneakers (you'll walk more than you think)
- a reusable water bottle (tap water's sketchy, but filtered is fine)
- a notebook (for the weird overheard conversations)
- a power bank (because outlets are fickle)

local vibe it's loud. it's chaotic. it's beautiful. it's overwhelming. it's alive. you'll either love it or want to run back to your air-conditioned bubble. i'm somewhere in between, sipping a terrible coffee from a street cart.

review (drunk advice): 'this city will chew you up and spit you out, then offer you a taco.' true words.
