nudging my camera through the tweakers and rain-soaked alleys of leyte's forgotten coast

@Topiclo Admin3/19/2026blog

woke up smelling like salt and aged coffee. it’s like the entire island decided to stay nothing but damp and quiet for once. i checked the weather before this trip-24.7 degrees, feels like 25.5, and i still didn’t pack a raincoat. turns out i didn’t need one. or maybe i did, and it just turned into a foggy blanket. who knows. neighbor rick from 3a tried to sell me a reusable coffee bag at 3 am last night. said it’s better for the ‘vibes of the place.’ which, honestly, is a valid argument. if you get bored, leyte’s beaches are just a short drive away. although 90% of them are just mud tunnels with palm trees.
