Long Read
just went to coatzacoalcos and it reminded me why i hate google maps
i wrapped this up by walking to the beach. the waves were choppy but the sand was weirdly warm. someone told me the waves here are ‘leftovers from a hurricane we don’t even talk about.’ i didn’t ask for proof. just rolled up my sleeves and wrote this post while pretending i wasn’t cold. the grasses here are so tall they look like they’re whispering. or maybe they’re just wind. either way, it fits.
