multan’s got this way of sneaking up on you-like, you think you’re just passing through, and suddenly you’re knee-deep in blue pottery shops, arguing with a chai wallah about whether his tea is actually “world-famous” or just famous in his own head. i rolled in with no plan, which is usually how i roll, and somehow ended up staying three extra days. the weather? 19.02°c, feels like 17.53°c-dry as a bone, humidity at 21%, so if you’re into crisp desert air that doesn’t mess with your hair, congrats, you’re in the right place. pressure’s sitting at 1012 hPa, so no storms brewing, just endless blue sky and the occasional kite floating by like it’s got nowhere better to be. if you get bored, lahore and faisalabad are just a short drive away, but honestly, why would you leave when the tombs here look like they’re made of melted gold at sunset? someone told me that the ghanta ghar clock tower is “underrated”, but i overheard a local say it’s actually just “out of order”-classic multan, keeping you guessing. i checked tripadvisor for “top things to do” and it suggested the fort, but the real magic was in the side alleys where the smell of sizzling samosas hits you before you even see the stall. also, i heard that if you ask three different rickshaw drivers for the same landmark, you’ll get three completely different routes-and somehow, that’s the charm. the ground level pressure is 991 hPa, so if you’re planning a rooftop sunset, maybe hold onto your hat. and yeah, i know, i’m rambling, but that’s the point-multan doesn’t hand you a neat little itinerary, it hands you a cup of chai and says, “figure it out.”
