okay so let's talk about lisbon. i'm a chef, right? and i've been all over the world, but this place? it's got under my skin like a stubborn stain. the food here is like a punch in the face in the best way possible - all that bacalhau and piri-piri hitting your taste buds like a drum solo gone wild.

*essential gear for your culinary crusade in lisbon:
- good walking shoes: those cobblestones will murder your arches faster than a sous chef forgetting to reduce a sauce
- a sturdy tote: because you're gonna wanna smuggle those pastƩis de nata out of every bakery you find
- cash: small bills are king since most street markets run on cash-only systems
- a portable notebook: for scribbling recipes shouted at you by grandmas in tiny kitchens

i just checked the weather and it's currently doing that thing where it's sunny then rainy then sunny again, so pack layers. hope you like that kind of thing. the locals? they've got this vibe like they know all the secrets but are too busy drinking ginjinha to tell you.
