Austin, Texas: A Whirlwind of Heat & Hidden Stories
okay, so let me tell you about Austin. just… wow. i’m still processing. it’s like a pressure cooker of weirdness and sunshine, all rolled into one. i’m thinking it’s definitely something i need to add to my list; maybe again and again.
i just checked and it’s…there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. seriously though, the temperature is hitting a new high. feels like a warm hug, kinda suffocating, kinda… exhilarating? and that weather pattern? totally unpredictable. it’s a masterclass in chaotic beauty, wouldn't you say?
i landed around 1:00 pm, and the traffic was not kidding me. it’s a city that seems to live at a constant speed of ten. *Everything is happening all at once.
my place is in the South Congress area - SoCo, which, like, everything is trendy there. i snagged a little Airbnb - super cool, vintage-y space. perfect for a digital nomad like me. the neighbors are… interesting. it’s a mix of artists, musicians, and people who are definitely into their kombucha. if you get bored, San Antonio* is just a short drive away.
