Vienna Through the Lens of a Street Artist's Sleep-Deprived Ruminations
apparently the weather gods tossed a coin between 'mild' and 'overrated' and landed it right in this 15.81°C limbo. thermostat battles in my apartment feel like a metaphor for this city’s refusal to commit to either winter or spring. had to chuck my scarf into a dumpster for the first time this week ’cause even my grandma warned me about these ‘false sunshine’ vibes-turns out she’s a reliable source of apocalyptic intel.
if you’re picturing me wandering cobblestone alleys with a spray can in one hand and a half-empty thermos in the other, you’re half-right. woke up stuffed in a friend’s third-floor attic (read: graffiti dens of questionable provenance) after my midnight tram ride home turned into a existential warzone of lukewarm coffee and taxis that honked like they’d personally insulted my life choices. still half-asleep, I scribbled this eerie half-dream about a piano in the middle of a canal-’the yellow weathered thing with overflowing coins’-that’s either random or weirdly tied to all the 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor about Mozart’s MuSeum. maybe excess capitalism is the theme? 🤷♂️
