Jaipur's Dust and Dreams: A Botanist's Unexpected Detour

okay, so. jaipur. i wasn’t supposed to be in jaipur. i was tracking a rare species of desert succulent in Rajasthan, you know, the kind that blooms only under a specific lunar cycle? super niche, i know. that’s my life. but my jeep decided to have a full-blown existential crisis about halfway between here and… well, somewhere else. left me stranded, basically.
