Wandering Around a Place I've Never Heard Of
so here i am, standing in the middle of some random town, trying to figure out what the hell i'm doing. the weather's a bit chilly, feels like 9 degrees, but hey, at least it's not raining. i just checked and it's 10 degrees there right now, hope you like that kind of thing.
walking around, i stumbled upon this old castle on a hill. someone told me that it's haunted, but i didn't see any ghosts. maybe they're just shy. if you get bored, stuttgart and freiburg are just a short drive away.
overheard a couple of locals talking about this amazing bakery. they said the pretzels are to die for. i'm not usually one for pretzels, but i might have to give it a try. apparently, the owner is a bit of a character, always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh.
i also heard that the local museum has some pretty cool exhibits. not really my thing, but if you're into history, it might be worth checking out. they've got this one exhibit on medieval torture devices that's supposed to be pretty intense.
the town itself is pretty small, but it's got a certain charm to it. the streets are narrow and winding, and there's this one alley that's so tight you have to turn sideways to get through. i almost got stuck, but that's a story for another time.
if you're planning a trip here, i'd recommend checking out TripAdvisor for some local tips and tricks. and don't forget to stop by the bakery for a pretzel. you won't regret it.
anyway, that's all for now. i'm off to explore some more. who knows what i'll find next?
