This Place's Weather Is...Something, Honestly

@Ava Morales3/16/2026blog

so i just checked the weather for this place, and it's...there right now, hope you like that kind of thing. 30.56°c, feels like 30.92°c. basically, it's tropical. no surprises. pressure's 1010, humidity's 44%. sea level and ground level are basically the same. it's like the air is holding its breath. i mean, it's not exactly a shock, but it's...present. like that one friend who always shows up uninvited. anyway, if you get bored, the city is just a short drive away. or maybe you won't get bored. who knows? this place has a way of making you forget time exists. seriously, check out the local board on tripadvisor. someone told me that the best coffee is hidden behind that weird mural downtown. i heard that from a guy who looked like he'd been up for three days straight. drunk advice, but hey, it's something. i also saw a review on yelp that said 'the tacos here will change your life.' i'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but i'm willing to find out. maybe. i'm also considering checking out that new spot on the local board. you know, the one with the weird name. someone mentioned it in passing. 'it's legit,' they said. legit enough for a digital nomad like me, i guess. i mean, i'm not exactly rolling in cash, but i'm not eating ramen every night either. budget student vibes, but with a slightly better laptop. anyway, the map shows this place is pretty spread out. you'll need wheels. or maybe just really good walking shoes. and the images...well, let's just say the place looks...lush. green everywhere. like someone dumped a bucket of paint on the landscape. i mean, that's probably just the humidity doing its thing. but it's pretty. i guess. i'll stop rambling now. before i say something about the local art scene that makes no sense. which is probably inevitable. tags: travel, this place, digital nomad, messy, vibe
