salt lake city, a place that's gonna grow on you

i'm sitting here, trying to put into words the feeling of salt lake city. it's one of those places that's hard to pin down, you know? *weather-wise, i just checked and it's supposed to be a pretty moderate day, with temps ranging from 16 to 20 degrees celsius, and a humidity level of 35, which is pretty pleasant, if you ask me. hope you're into that kind of mild climate. anyway, back to the city itself. the neighbors, well, let's just say they're a mixed bag. you've got the mountains looming in the background, and then there are the other cities nearby, like park city, which are just a short drive away if you're looking for a change of pace. someone told me that park city is a must-visit during winter, so maybe i'll check that out next time.

as for reviews, i heard that the natural history museum of utah is a hidden gem, but don't take my word for it - i stumbled upon a thread on yelp where people were raving about it. oh, and if you're into food, someone warned me about the lines at the red iguana, but apparently, their moles are to die for. i'm more of a coffee* person myself, so i'll have to check out some of the local cafes - this link might come in handy for that.

anyway, to wrap this up, salt lake city is definitely a place that's gonna grow on you. it's not your typical tourist destination, but it's got a certain charm to it. and if you're looking for more info, you could check out this local board - i've heard it's pretty helpful for finding out what's going on around the city.
