new york's weather chaos
the sun peeked through my screen like a telemarketing call, but something slipped free. i just checked and it's an erratic rain new here, nothing like the calm i expected. the city feels like itās holding its breath, watched by pigeons and judgmental phobias. neighbors whisper tales ofčæ幓ę„ēå¼å, though i swear the last confrontation with the alley cat ebbed. a trip-down-on-airplane feels distant, replaced by commas and unresolved pauses. you know how in this place everything moves slower, yet always rushed. sometimes i pause, but mostly itās like trying to remember who i am outside mid-conversation. i dig out the weather app-a messy crate of deflections-then scroll past maps turning into abstract scribbles. somehow, the rhythm stays rough, like a bassline just beneath a background hum. some blogs here feel too polished, too scripted, leave gaps that ache. youād think iād have noticed by now, but when does a quiet exist when youāre so loud? some days i find myself kicking sand into a puddle, just to feel the grit. if you get bored, the cityās short on distance, just a blur of signs and gray, yet still formidable. sometimes i wish iād left, but the memory of the damp pavement burns brighter. i wonder if anyone else finds the same tangled in here, somewhere beneath the noise. links: https://www.google.com/search?q=new+york+loneliness, https://example.com/local-eats, https://yelp.co33d.com, https://blog.underdog.ph/about-me
