TouringSession Drummer's Oklahoma City Adventure: Where the Beats Meet the Prairie

so i just rolled into oklahoma city, sweat dripping from my forehead like a broken faucet. the weather app says it's 24.91°C, but feels like 24.47°C-basically a sauna with a breeze. perfect for a drummer's gear to smell like a locker room. if you get bored, dallas is just a short drive away, but honestly, why leave this weird mix of cowboy boots and neon signs? someone told me that the local dive bar has the best live music, but only if you're into that kind of thing. i heard that the hotel's breakfast is hit or miss, so maybe grab a coffee instead. check out the bricktown brewery on tripadvisor for some local brews, or yelp reviews for the hotel i stayed at-just don't trust the breakfast reviews.

i mean, the weather is kinda meh, but the vibe here? it's like a tornado of creativity. i saw a street artist painting a mural of a drummer on a wall, and let me tell you, that guy had more energy than my last gig. if you're into that kind of thing, check out the local boards for hidden spots. and hey, if you need a break from the heat, the botanical gardens are supposed to be nice-though i heard someone complained about the humidity there too. just saying.

so yeah, oklahoma city. it's not paris, but it's got heart. and maybe a few too many tumbleweeds. but hey, that's the charm, right?
