paris walls and wandering whispers

yo, just rolled into paris with my backpack half full of cans and a heart that’s already tagging the walls. the sky’s a thin blanket of gray, temperature hovering around twelve, feels a bit cooler with the wind. i hit up a spot near the canal where the bricks whisper stories, and some local told me that the old bakery on rue de la roquette serves the best pain au chocolat if you slip them a sketch. i heard that the rooftop bar overlooking the seine gets wild after midnight, but you gotta know the right bouncer to slide in. i spent the afternoon trading stickers with a kid from montmartre who swore his grandma used to model for renoir-yeah, right, but the vibe was legit. if you need a break from the spray fumes, hop on a quick train and you’re in versailles or lille before you can finish a verse. grabbed a bite at a place i found on tripadvisor and later checked yelp for a hidden coffee joint yelp and also checked a local board reddit for upcoming events. the locals keep whispering about a pop‑up gallery in le marais that’s supposed to drop tomorrow night, so i’m gonna swing by and see if the rumors hold up. oh, and i stuck a little piece on a shutter near the marais, hope it stays long enough for someone to snap a pic. here’s the map to keep you oriented:

i’ll catch you on the flip side, keep your cans ready and your eyes open.
