midnight musings in palm springs

i just checked and it's...the sun is playing tricks on my skin right now, hope you like that kind of thing.

yeah, i rolled into palm springs on a whim, backpack full of notebooks and a busted wifi router. the streets smell like citrus and cheap perfume, and the air feels like a cheap perfume right now, hope you like that kind of thing.

someone told me that the rooftop bar there turns into a secret jazz club after midnight, and the crowd is a mix of retirees and roving photographers

i heard that the taco truck on main serves a secret sauce that’ll make you question reality, but i’m still waiting for the line to die down

if you start craving tacos, the next city is just a short drive away.

i spent the afternoon wandering the art district, snapping shots of murals that look like they were painted by a sleep‑deprived dreamer.

checked out the local coffee spot, the barista whispered that the beans are roasted by a guy who once worked at a Michelin star kitchen. you can read more on TripAdvisor or see what the locals say on Yelp and the Palm Springs Community Forum.

the vibe is a mix of desert heat and neon glow, and i’m just trying to keep the Wi‑Fi alive long enough to upload these pics. if you get bored, the next town over is just a short drive away.
